At the end of 2014, Jecod (Jebao Ecological Design), one of the biggest manufacturers in China, released the new DCT- a powerful and eco-efficiency series of submersible return pumps!
While in terms of appearance the DCT series is not much different, the major changes are situated within the motor. The DCT'smotor doesn’tcontain any sensors internally anymore, but now the controller does - ensuring long lasting operation.Due to this structural change, the DCT-4000 is no longer compatible with Apex control systems.
Equipped with innovative electronics, The DCT-4000 is one of the best adjustable submersible return pumpsoffered by Jebao. The pump features a wear resistant ceramic shaft which ensures long operation life.In addition, the high performance motor saves up to 65% more energy than othersof its size and category.
Just like the old series, the DCT pumps also featuresgreat mechanisms:
The pump's components are copper free. Operate in your fresh or saltwater tank with absolute confidence, without any concerns!
The upgraded DCT-4000's controller now offers the user 10 different speeds, easily and quickly adjustable by pushing the + and - buttons. Choose the ideal speed for your tank - up to 4000 Liters per hour! A feeding mode is also available and allowsstopping the pumps activity for 10 minutes.
A great additional feature is the LED flashing status. This smart controllerwillindicate whether the pump or the controller are malfunctioning, and if so will point at the problem by changing the "speed" of the LED flashing color.Further information & explanation can be found in the user manual.
The Jebao / Jecod power supply is designed to work all around the world. A built in universal transformerallows users to operate this pump at 110-240v.
