A Jebao CP-40 Pump
This pump is fantastic! Been using it for a month now and no more detritus. Definitely a quality product at a fraction of the cost of similar pumps. Aquatic deal has the best price for this pump. Can\'t go wrong with using them.
Probably the best wave maker on the market now!
I\'ve bought it for 60g aquarium. It is so powerful so I\'m using it only on 50% of power. Probably originaly it was designed for 100-200g tank.
Before I used classic powerheads. this one provide even water flow all over the tank.
One more benefit manufacturer did not mention: this small device is a replacement for several classic powerheads. For me it is very important to put inside the tank as less devices as possible. We are keeping aquariums to watch corals and fish but not devices.
Highly recommend it.
My online review... great product and great service
Recently I purchaced 2 Jebao CP-40 from Aquatic deal. Lee Li made me a great offer on this.
Powerfull and realiable pumps for the best price you will find on the internet.
After installing it turned out that only one pump was sufficient for a 150cm*60cm tank. ;-)
I picked up the CP 40 cross flow for my 36" x 36" x 24" deep cube about 3 weeks ago, took about a week to arrive, AWESOME!. I was torn between the CP-25 and the CP-40 due to the size difference, I decided to go with the CP-40 for the extra flow. Im glad I did. When compared to the CP25 there is barely any size difference but more flow.
This pump replaced 2 WP-40 power heads that I had running with atleast as much flow if not more and in a much smaller space. I have it stuck to the front face of my central overflow about 1 1/2" from the surface. With any other power head you would get swirls pulling in air that close to the surface but because you can direct each \'wing\' I turned them downwards a bit and problem solved.
Out of habit I always make sure my new pumps work out of the water before I put them in the tank. Easier to mess with if something is wrong. I plugged them in and thought \'oh great, they are super loud and squeaky\' . However after running for 20 minutes in the tank it is silent, even on max wave mode I don\'t hear anything.
The only downside I have seen, if you can call it that, is the lack of a night mode on the controller. On the WP-40 there was a night mode that changed the power head to a slower mode when the lights went out. Did this make a difference to the fish and coral? I doubt it. Would it stop me from buying this pump again? No way.
All in all very happy with the pump.
