At the end of the year 2014, the new energy saving series of DCT pumps was released by Jecod (Jebao Ecological Design), one of China’s largest and most recognized manufacturers of products for aquariums, reefs and ponds.
There were no significant changes made to the outward appearance of the pumps, the changes were made to the motor. Instead of in the motor, the sensors are now located within the controller, which ensures the user of operations that are long-lasting. The Apex control systems no longer work with the DCT-15000, due to changes made to the pumps structure.
The advanced electronics on the adjustable DCT-15000 Submersible Return Pump is just one reason it’s considered as one of the best offered by Jebao. Other popular changes made to the pump include the high performance motor that has the ability to save as much as 65% more energy than similar pumps, and the wear-resistant ceramic material the shafts are made of.

The parts that the pump is constructed of are free of any copper. You can have confidence that your aquarium tanks will operate without the fear of problems occurring.
There are 10 varying speed levels offered on the controller. Adjusting the speed of the pump is as easy as pushing the + and – buttons. Speeds you can select for your tank are up to 15000 Liters per hour. There is also a feeding mode that allows you to stop the operation of the pump for 10 full minutes.
The LED flashing status is yet another feature on the controller. When malfunction occurs with the pump or the smart controller, the user is informed by a noticeable change in the LED flashing speed. The user manual provides additional explanations and information.
The universal transformer permits the pump to operate at 110-240v. It doesn’t matter where the user is located in the world, as the power supply is designed to work anywhere.
